An award-winner in 2019 in the Special Event and Logo categories, Shanghai American School’s creativity is an example of how a school’s brand identity can be communicated consistently across multiple channels.
SchoolHouse Summary: Shanghai American School’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Kevin Lynch discussed how valuable the process of working with partners who could sit in the shoes of their primary audience: prospective families. Firebelly, the design firm behind their logo, visited Shanghai multiple times for the project and shared reflective and formal experiences, Kevin Lynch mentioned. This process was key to informing the design of an entire brand identity.
